In your search for a veterinary hospital, we believe that you should expect the highest quality medical care for your pet as well as exceptional service. Since 1977, it has been our vision to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing incomparable client service and veterinary health care second to none. This remains our promise to you.
We are strong believers that you, the owner, are our indispensable partner in your pet's comprehensive pet care program.
We strive to always inform and educate you so that you may work with us in caring for your loved companion.
Our pets have a shorter life span than you and I, and they age at a rate five to seven times faster than humans. Because of this, we recommend a thorough physical examination every six months. The doctor will examine your pet from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail. All abnormal findings will be clearly explained to you, and if necessary the doctor may recommend further diagnostic tests or procedures. After a diagnosis is determined, you and your veterinarian, together, will design a treatment plan for your pet. We are always cognizant of financial limitations and urge you to request an estimation of the cost of treating your pet.
We believe that good preventive medicine is essential for your pet to live a long, healthy, and pain free life. We strive always to stay current on all recommended vaccination protocols. We also emphasize parasite control, good dental prophylaxis, and quality nutrition.
We understand that behavioral problems are an unfortunate fact of life, at times putting extreme stress on your relationship with your pet. We have doctors on staff that have a special interest in animal behavior and in treating pets with such problems as anxiety, aggression, and inappropriate elimination habits. We are up to date on the latest behavioral modification techniques and the newest pharmacological products used to treat behavioral disorders. Our staff strives to educate you as far as how to prevent these problems from occurring in the first place, by teaching you proper training and socialization methods.
We believe that the quality of your pet's life is as important as the length of your pet's life, and we are prepared to help you make logical and rational decisions when it comes to end of life issues.
If your pet requires the service of a specialist, veterinarians who have completed advanced studies in specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care, we will make the referral for you. Our philosophy has always been to treat your pet the same way we would want our own pet treated. We use that criteria everyday to make medical decisions for our patients. If someone else can do it better, that's what we want for your pet.
So choose a veterinarian who is calm, compassionate and willing to explain all the procedures your pet undergoes. Try to find a doctor with whom both you and your pet feel comfortable. Try to make things convenient for yourself. Choose a clinic with an empathetic and qualified staff and the proper facilities and medical equipment to undertake complicated surgery and treatments, and safely perform procedures requiring anesthesia.
It would be our honor to care for your pet.
